Stockyards Cattle Drive

Last Friday was Eileen's birthday!  Happy birthday, I love you! So, to celebrate her birthday and to kind of have a little bit longer weekend, we took Friday off and went up to the Stockyards in Fort Worth.  We went there a couple of years ago and we thought if we ever go back, we'd like to stay in the Stockyards Hotel and visit a little longer.  So that's what we did!

Just down the street from the hotel, you can watch the cowboys drive "the herd" around the block everyday at 11:30a and 4:00p.  It's a pretty fun - if not touristy - thing to do. ;-)

I hope you enjoy the photo and thanks for dropping by.  As always, click here to see the high-res version of the final image.
