Laguna Beach Surfer

Took this during a quick stop at one of the roadside beaches in Laguna Beach, I think it was Aliso Beach County Park if I'm not mistaken.  Fun to watch these guys catch the waves so close to shore....  The beach where these guys would surf was about 8 feet or so above the water line and they would stand at the top, watch the swells and then just as the wave would start forming, they would run down the sand, plop their board into the water and hop on, then hit the wave as it started to break and head back to shore..  Very cool!
